Federal Jury Returns Verdict in Favor of LLPC Client in ADA Discrimination Suit

At the conclusion of a 3-day trial in the United States District Court in Charlottesville, Virginia a jury returned a defense verdict in favor of LLPC client Trae Fuels, Inc.  Lars Liebeler was lead trial counsel, assisted by Paul Williamson of Cohen Seglias.  A former employee of Trae Fuels alleged that his termination was based on a health condition.  The jury found that the termination was based on poor job performance unrelated to the health condition, and determined that the company did not violate the Americans With Disabilities Act.  United States District Judge Glen Conrad presided over the trial. The case is styled Donaldson v. Trae Fuels, Civ. No. 3:18CV00097 (W.D. Va. 2020).
